Come audition for our summer production of Macbeth!
This will be an outdoor summer production of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth with performances in Longfellow Park and other parks in Cambridge.
This will be an action-packed show, set in a barbaric society where might makes right. All actors should be prepared for extensive fight choreography and practice; Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Macduff, and Lady Macduff will also do some on-stage kissing and physical intimacy, which will be choreographed with intimacy coordination best practices. Cast may also be asked to help as necessary (and as they are able) with postering, costume construction, prop finding, and the like.
Stipends: Actors will be offered a stipend of $100.
Audition Information and Sides
If you cannot attend the auditions on May 5 or 6, you may submit a video audition by May 6. Pick a maximum of 3 sides and upload a recording of you reading them to our video audition folder. Recordings must be uploaded by 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6th to be considered.
