Auditions

Auditions are on April 28 and 30.
Auditions will be held at Unity Somerville, 6 William Street, Somerville from 7 - 10 pm. Sign up for a one-hour time slot.

Come audition for our summer production of Richard III!

This will be an outdoor production

All performances are in Cambridge

The first two weekends in Longfellow Park, near Harvard Square, August 10/11 and 17/18

The second two weekends in Raymond Park, near Porter Square, August 24/25 and 31/Sept. 1

Rehearsals will also be primarily outdoors in the parks. Some rehearsals will be in Arlington.

The show will have a punk rock Elizabethan flair! We also envision the cast for this

production as primarily female or female presenting. Anyone comfortable with this

vision is encouraged to audition.

Stipends: Actors will be offered a stipend of $75 with the possibility for more.

Note: This stipend is lower than the typical stipend from Dream Role Players. We hope to increase the amount later but for now, we can only promise $75.

Dates to Remember: Read-through is on Sunday, June 2ed.

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays beginning on June 13th (no rehearsal on Father's Day or July 4th)

Tech week begins Sunday, August 4th. All actors are expected to be at every rehearsal during tech week.

Opening night, Saturday, August 10th.

COVID policy: Actors will be asked not to come to rehearsal if testing positive for

COVID and to wear masks if they are testing negative but have had symptoms or a

close contact exposure. There will be a plan for understudies to step into any role if

necessary.

The role of Richard has been cast.

Lady Anne—This actor will also be the understudy for Richard and will play Richard in at least two performances.
