Vincent Ernest Siders* (Othello) Vincent Ernest Siders is a stage director, equity actor, producer, educator, and theater consultant. Currently, he is the Director and Lead Instructor for the ‘Ambassadors’, the touring division of Youth Underground at Central Square Theater. Vincent has served as Artistic Director for two theater companies, both in Boston: New African Company and TYG Productions - Home of the Family Beef Feast Festival.  

As an actor, Vincent has performed throughout the East Coast. Memorable roles include but limited to:  Pap and Rev in Fat Ham at the Huntington Theater;  King Shahrayar in Arabian Nights and Uncle Diva in Mr g both at Central Square Theater;  Joe Bell in Guided Tour  at Hibernian Hall in Roxbury; Tom in The Glass Menagerie at Lyric Stage;  Friar Francis in Much Ado About Nothing with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company; Lucius in Jesus Hopped the A Train with Company One;  Rooftop in Our Lady of 121st Street with SpeakEasy Stage Company; and James in Monticel at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, where he played the role of Thomas Jefferson’s unclaimed son.  Dubbed a ‘ Boston Treasure’ by The Boston Globe, Vincent has received:  two IRNE nominations for Best Direction, two IRNE Awards for Acting, the Elliot Norton Award for Best Actor, and Boston Magazine’s - Best of Boston Award for Best Actor.

Dayenne C. B. Walters  (Iago)  Dayenne CB Walters is a Boston-based actor, director, playwright, and dancer. She most recently appeared in two 10-minute plays for Central Square Theater and Our Place Theater, for the Boston Theater Marathon, and Fabulations, or the Education of Undine, at Lyric Stage, Everyday Life and Other Odds and Ends, at the Paramount Theater, (Sleeping Weazel Theater), and in the TV production, Legacy of Love | PBS (WGBH).

In 2023, she wrote a two-act historical drama, In the Earnest Path of Duty: The Adventures of Lottie Forten and directed a staged reading at the Somerville Armory, Somerville MA. Dayenne has also directed productions with the Vermont Pride Theater Festival, SLAM/Boston, Praxis Stage, the TC2 Reading Salon, and the Mass Art Center, Mansfield. She is a founding member of Benkadi Drum and Dance. Benkadi travels throughout New England presenting the culture of Mali through West African and Malian music and dance. 

Dominic Carter* (Cassio) Dom Carter is very excited to be playing Cassio in Othello with Dream Role Players. He is an Equity actor in the Boston , attended the Atlantic Acting School in NewYork. He has been in Fairview with Speakeasy, The Mountaintop with Chenago River theater, The Light with Lyric stage Company, Dracula: A Feminist revenge fantasy with The Umbrella stage company , Twelfth Night ( Lyric Stage Company), Jesus Hopped The A Train ( Hovey Players) for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the DASH Awards; RACE (Hovey Players), All My Sons ( Praxis Stage) which he was also nominated for Best Ensemble at the Elliot Norton Awards; Romeo & Juliet ( The Underling Theater Company) as Tybalt and Paris; Julius Caesar ( Praxis Stage) as Artemidorus; Company One ( The Greater Good) as Michael; August Wilson’s Fences at ( The Umbrella Stage Company) in which he played “Gabriel Maxson” and  “Caliban“  in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” just to name a few. 

Luis Negron* (Rodrigo) Luis Negrón (He/him/his) is a member of Actors’ Equity Association (the union of professional stage actors) and has been a Boston area actor for almost 20 years, having performed in theatre, musical theatre, film, commercials, voiceovers and print. Luis has performed with such companies as The Huntington Stage Co., The Lyric Stage Co., SpeakEasy Stage, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, New Repertory Theatre, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, Wellesley Summer Theatre, Moonbox Productions, Brandeis Theatre Co. and Zeitgeist Stage. Last seen: The Addams Family (Wheelock). 

Vidisha Agarwalla (Bianca/Ensemble) VIDISHA AGARWALLA (Bianca, she/her) is a creative with a passion for acting, creating, and supporting theatre and new works! Her favorite roles include Communications Specialist at the Associates of the Boston Public Library, Development Manager at Fresh Ink Theatre Company, Co-Founder of Boston Media Artists Collective (@bostonmediaartistscollective), Mashal in Jado Jehad (Boston Playwright's Theatre), and now playing Bianca in Othello! Originally from Singapore, Vidisha strives to diversify the theatre and performing arts communities. She is looking forward to continuing to work in the arts in Boston. Eric Cheung (Brabantino/Montano) Eric Cheung has done stand-up for NBC’s Diversity Initiative, stand-up and sketch at The Comedy Studio, docenting for WGBH, voice work with WGBH, WBUR, WECB, WMFO, Learning Ally, Post-Meridian Radio Players, and Boston Podcast Players, and stage acting with Another Country, Bridge Rep, a play live-streamed on HowlRound), and Dream Role Players, and was in Star Trek (2009). Since lockdown, he's joined the board of Playwrights Platform, recorded monologues, directed 48-hour films, voiced an upcoming video game, done Zoom productions of "White Rabbit, Red Rabbit," "The Importance of Being Earnest," and "Waiting for Lefty." In 2022, he returned to in-person performing for PMRP at the Boston Theatre Marathon and Playwrights Platform for their annual festival.  Most recently, he played Macbeth in Theatre@First’s production.  After the production closed, he started shooting his scenes at home for upload to YouTube.  You can listen to him play myriad characters in The Madmen's Guild podcast, right now. 

Candis Hilton (Amelia) Candis Hilton is thrilled to be in the Shakespeare's Othello play. She would like to thank Dream Role Players for giving her the opportunity. Candis is a member of the Our Place Theatre Company where she has studied acting for over seven years. Some of her past acting roles include: Viola in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night,Young Lizzie in Elizabeth Keckley Freedom Tailored by Hand, Affifa in A Shift Interrupted, Kibriya in The Black Mind, Makayla Williams in Green Thumb, Trauma Noel in Trauma, Phillis Wheatley in Wrestling with Freedom. Candis would like to thank God as well as her family and friends for their continued support in her acting endeavors. She would also like to thank Jacqui Parker for all her wisdom and her work in the community. 

Elisabet Ober (Desdemona) Elisabet Ober is honored to be making her Dream Role Players debut as Desdemona. Most recently, Elisabet was seen in Roundabout Productions' Much Ado About Nothing (Hero). Other credits include Umbrella Stage Company's Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really (Mina); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia); Twelfth Night: Musical (Olivia); and the Boston Theatre Marathon XXV. She was also featured in films such as Dominoes (Lily); Avengers: Tales of Suspense (Daisy/Quake), Sing to Speak, and A Memory Play, the latter of which was featured at the Diwa Filipino Film Festival in Seattle and the San Diego Film Festival. In 2021, Elisabet was a virtual apprentice with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and is represented by Swain Thomas Agency. Zoe Pepin (Ensemble) Zoe Pepin is excited to be working with Dream Role Players for the first time. She is an avid theatre-maker both onstage and off, and she particularly loves musicals and Shakespeare. Recent credits include stage crew for Lizzie: The Musical (The Umbrella Stage Company) and Cinderella in Into the Woods (URI Theatre). 

Joshua Lee Robinson (Gratiano/Ensemble) Joshua Lee Robinson is a Black actor with a Masters from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. He was last seen as Claudio in Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, Warren in Albatross by Isley Lynn, Tramarion in Black Superhero Magic Mama, Gyaibo in The Wolf Prince by June Jiang and John Peters in Faces of Philis by Ade Solanke. 

Andres Sotomayor (Ensemble) Andrés Molano Sotomayor: Venezuelan-Colombian, Andres is excited to participate in his first production with DreamRole players! Thank you to the beautiful people who have supported and encouraged me to laugh and play. Much love to you all. 

Robert Thorpe II (Ludovico/Ensemble) Robert Thorpe II (he/him) is thrilled to be returning to Dream Role Players, having previously worked with them on Twelfth Night (Sebastian), As You Like It (Silvius), and Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio). Recent roles of his include Book of Will (Boy Hamlet/Marcus) with Hub Theater Company, Hamlet (Ensemble) with Apollinaire Theater, as well as The Cherry Orchard (Yasha) and She Kills Monsters (The Great Mage Steve) with Theatre@First. Othello was the first production Robert worked on in College, and he is incredibly grateful for this opportunity to revisit a play very near to his heart. Many thanks to his friends, family, and partner Amelia for their support as well as his friend Peter who he knows reads bios. 

Kory Turner (Duke of Venice) Kory is a Massachusetts native and holds a bachelor’s of science in public health from Bradley University. In college, he performed in his first community play as 'George' in A Raisin in the Sun (Peoria Players Theatre). Kory is a long time lover of performing arts, and participated in speech and debate, various bands, and stand up comedy. Fundamentally, he believes in “art’s ability to empower and surround our communities''. He is thrilled to be a part of this amazing production.

Alan White (Director) Alan White (they/them) is an Assistant Professor of Acting at Western Kentucky University. Alan has been performing on stage, screen and almost everywhere else for over twenty years. Their credits include work in everything from educational theatre to Shakespeare, to devising and solo performance. Alan’s directing credits include Hair, Sexy, Geeky, Black, and Mental, and Eurydice.  

Alan is committed to making equity and inclusion a part of all their artistic work as director, Dialect Coach, Playwright and Actor. Alan’s goal is that the work be artistic, specific and that all the collaborators enter and leave the work with their dignity intact.

Nico Fernandez (Stage Manager

Benjamin Cruz (Assistant Stage Manager) Benjamin Cruz is the ASM of this production. Past works include Apollinaire Theatre's Lunch Bunch (2024, ASM), Moonbox Productions Sweeney Todd (2023) and Legally Blonde(2023) (Both as Captions Operator), and Mount Harvest' Good: The Examination Of The Salem Witch Trials (2023, PA). He is really excited to be joining this production and really hopes that everyone enjoys the show! As always thanks to the friends and family for their shared love and support in what I do.

Atlas Mendoza (Costumer) Atlas Mendoza is currently a senior attending Western Kentucky University currently completing a major in Theatre Technology and Design with a concentration in costume design and construction. Atlas is delighted to collaborate with Dream Role Players for this production of Othello. This will be his first production working outside of an academic setting, his previous costume design experience on the stages of Western Kentucky University include, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, Happily Every After?, and the stage premiere of Child of the Night: Pirates of the Mediterranean written by our director, Alan White.

Dev Luthra (Text Consultant) Trained at East 15 Acting School, London, England and at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA.  Recent acting credits include Burbage, Jaggard/Book of Will; Sorin/Seagull and Attorney/The Gaaga at Arlekin Players; Iago/Othello  at Dreamrole Players (EPC production); Antigonus, Old Shepherd, Bottom/The Winter’s Tale and Midsummer Night’s Dream at Bay Colony Shakespeare Company, Dance Teacher Pat/Dance Nation, Father/Brilliant Adventures and Azdak/Caucasian Chalk Circle (Apollinaire Theatre Company), Northumberland/Henry IV, parts 1 & 2 (Actors Shakespeare Project), M. le Comte/N. Bonaparte (Pilgrim Theatre). He has taught acting, movement, dramatic literature and poetry at Boston College and Emerson College and at Boston University’s Prison Education Program. Macbeth’s Children, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, co-written with Michael Bettencourt, won an AATE New Play award. His play Secret Asian Man is a piece focusing on the experience of being raised in two cultures. Of Anglo-Indian parentage, he has lived and worked in the Northeast since 1978. 


Lisa Burdick (Producer) Founded Dream Role Players in 2018 to produce two summer outdoor Shakespeare shows.  That was supposed to be it but here we are nearly 6 years and one pandemic later mounting our first indoor production.  It's been a crazy, wild ride.  The roller coaster will continue with an outdoor production of Richard III in Cambridge, in August 2024.  Have a dream project?
